Btw I like how you led in with UGA's bowl game, when the other 2 games you posted were going for less.
It is ironic that the SEC moved A&M and LSU for UGA to be in the Capital One, and there's still no interest.

As far as interest and ticket sales...
LSU-OU Cotton Bowl = A&M-OU Cotton Bowl
A&M-Nebraska Capital One > UGA-Nebraska Capital One
UGA-Clemson Peach > LSU-Clemson Peach

Good job, Slive!

Bowl tickets minus the BCS National Championship game tickets are down across the board.

Deciding between going to the music city bowl and the chick-fil-a bowl this year. You can get lowers for both games for like 60

Well, considering that A and M just played Nebraska last year, not too sure there would be as much demand for that as well. Basically, people who can relatively quickly drive to these games will go. I was thinking about it if I can get the day off on 1/1 seeing as how Orlando is only about a three hour drive for me.

I recall getting bucked to the Peach Bowl the year we played for the SEC championship against the eventual BCS NC and the Outback taking UGA over us with our better record. They didn't sell all their tickets then either. We missed the opportunity to play Purdue and Drew Brees because the Outback THOUGHT UGA would pull more fans.

Haven't eaten at an Outback since

There needs to be no more than 10 Bowl games

There's more parity nowadays so I could see 15...but 35? The worse part is the selection process. BCS busters indeed, someone is getting busted (mainly the TV viewing audience)

That's because they're a lot cheaper on Stubhub. Why pay $102 for a student ticket when you can get them for half that?

When was the last time a fan base was excited to go to the Capital One/Citrus Bowl? It usually fields teams that had championship hopes, but folded.

You should ask UT fans.

A&M fans were excited for the Capital One bowl, I believe. There would be more demand from A&M fans than UGA fans right now and more demand from general fans in Orlando to go see the Heisman trophy winner.

I wasn't happy Alabama was playing there per se, but I had a great time and was excited about going

I wasn't overly excited about playing Michigan State, but laying the wood to a B1G team made up for it.

Thats what me and my buddy do. Last year we got Sugar Bowl tickets for $20 apiece, got drunk, and enjoyed the game. It was a great time for cheap. There is no way I would pay that much for tickets when I know I can get them cheaper.

Hey, they aren't SEC, so this is crazy, so buy their tickets, and show up maybe.
