He’s a pretty special player. LSU is blessed that he made his way to BR

But the year that he’s had this year compared to where he was last year is unprecedented.

No doubt about it. An incredible assent of a player, a staff and a team.

He has also been aided by a cast of characters that have bought in and played their asses off for him. Many have stepped up at different times during the season to carry part of the load.

Stop. I don’t buy that you’re a legit UA fan. Stop flaming the board with trash.

Brennan can sling it, and he’s been learning the system. Won’t be Burrow but he will be good.

We will also return Chase, Marshall, and Moss—maybe also Jefferson and CEH if they come back. Otherwise, we have recruited very well. Couple of stud RBs waiting in the wings and a bumper WR crop committed for 2020.

Yep. People don't realize just how good he's going to be. It will still be a letdown from Burrow because I'm not sure anyone has ever been better than Burrow in college. But if Brennan does what Burrow did with his receivers in their own time, summer of 10,000 catches and the like, he's gonna light people up.

It'll change once we face a good defense.

It's one thing to get in a groove and do it for a game or a few weeks, but he has literally been doing it the entire season. Absolutely unreal what that guy is doing. I honestly thought Georgia played pretty well defensively yesterday. They held CEH in check, covered well and for the most part collapsed the pocket. It literally did not matter at all

Yep. Consistency is the most impressive thing this year.

I've never had a QB that every time they dropped back I KNOW something positive is about to happen

I'm not sold on Brennan having that "it" factor but he also hasn't been given the keys to the offense and the chance to get in a rhythm. He definitely has the arm strength, which is better than Burrow's. Would expect a step back but ultimately should be managed well by Brady and the talent on offense IMO.

Fortunately for Brennan, the entire offense around him could be better next year. Clyde and Jefferson are the main guys that leave but they respectively represent position groups that are better next year. Moss could be a meaningful loss if he decides to go but LSU has an OJ Howard type freak coming in at TE next year.

Defense is the bigger concern unfortunately, so we could be a 10-2, rebuild type team next year, possibly slipping to 9-3. Open with Texas at home and have to travel to AU and UF. We travel to A&M and if they aren't solid by then, they never will be.

Tangent: All-in, I see the West being very wide open next year. Bama absolutely gets smoked by attrition in core position groups, and my base assumption is that Tua is gone. They could well lose 2 games again next year, maybe even 3. Nix should be improved but AU loses their dominant DLs. Ole Miss could be annoying with Kiffin and Plumlee stealing a game from one of the Top 3. And as mentioned earlier, A&M's schedule flips to being very soft and favorable next year and their roster should be much more seasoned and developed.

Not only does he make great reads, the guy is tough as hell. He's taken some pretty big shots, and he just hops right back up. I hope that he has a great pro career
