This is a very tragic thing and it really puts things into perspective. I've been a fan of the game all of my life and I have 2 young kids, my son plays football. What a terrible thing his family and friends must be going through, I can't even imagine.

I never dreamed Arkansas would experience what MSU went through last year....

You never truly realize how young 19 is until you become older. A very sad day for Razorback nation, his friends, family and supporters.

May God bless and console those in mourning.

Can't watch it right now, but my heart and prayers go out to everyone affected.

It's never worth trying to make sense of someone dying young.

I lost a cousin this week. After watching the video, the tears won't stop.

Hang in there, kid. Remember the good stuff and be there for the people in your family who aren't as strong as you.

I went tonight and I can't get over it. I feel so down. Just something so powerful about it.

Just seeing Petrino and hearing his words, I broke down crying. We all did. I'm at a loss for it. Someone we think of as so strong and stern, but seeing him genuinely heartbroken was just gut wrenching.

This should have been an amazing and exciting week leading up to the LSU game, but instead its just been heartbreaking.

Thanks for posting that.

Don't think I'll be doing any of the usual trash talk this week. LSU just needs to watch the video of the vigil to know what is coming into Baton Rouge friday afternoon. Gonna be unstoppable!

So sad. Wow. I can't believe a healthy young man like that would have a heart attack. At 19? Might sound messed up, but I really hope that a heart attack wasn't it, a heart attack would be too unjust and cruel for a teenager.
It may have been hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which is the leading cause of sudden death in young athletes.

This is a reminder that life is fragile and we should not take anything for granted.

Petrino speaks at the 4:00 mark. If you don't like the guy, or think he's heartless, watch this.

Haven't watched the video yet, it's loading up.

As much is it sucks, it usually takes something like this to see some of these coaches as real people. Put's the whole thing in perspective and how little football really matters.
