I agree. They have to win a ring to be considered one of those elite programs. Haven't pulled it off yet. They get arse blasted too much as well. Getting beat down by Ole Miss, Auburn, LSU and Texas under Kirby does not spell elite to me.

Please don't try to counter with "44-16". Yes, Bama has gotten blown out a couple times but not that many times within a 4 year span...also Bama has won championships.

Poor AU deserved the title that year.

Nah. Don’t need a national title ring to be in the big national 5. Heck, don’t even need a playoff win.

Georgia made the playoffs and actually won a playoff game. It's that simple.

Auburn fans are still so pissed we made the playoffs at their expense. Thanks to auburn for giving uga a chance to earn our reputation as an elite program

It is better than making the playoffs (Final 4) and not winning a game there, is it not?

I’m sure they do. You know UGA is in their heads BIG time. When we start getting all these posts trying to belittle us, we know we are doing something right. Jealousy, envy and fear are SO obvious. Bama has dealt with this for years and now it looks like we are experiencing it too. Good for us!
We have won SECs - UF is yet to even see the Mercedes Benz- made the final 4 and won a playoff game in the Rose Bowl and came within one play of winning the NC. UF hasn’t been relevant in over a decade and AU has been owned body and soul by UGA for years and years. So let them make their ridiculous posts. We know what we’ve got and all their whiney comments won’t change that one iota

Why does UGA get lumped in with Bama, Clemson, OSU and Oklahoma in terms of the current ruling class in CFB?

All those programs have elite recruiting, elite coaching, and elite tactics. UGA only has Elite recruiting. The coaching is OK and the tactics are mediocre. It's just a bunch of elite NFL type players running around with little to no organization. Heck, even LSU's scheme on defense and offense is far superior to UGA's even if LSU doesn't have the same talent.

Have you already given up on UF for the year? I know every season eventually devolves into wishing the worst for UGA and treating a Georgia loss like a Florida win .

Follow your heart, but at least wait for Saturday's loss before you give up completely.

When we start to suck, you can do that.

40 years without a National Championship.
And over 20 years with no National Championships, in the big 3 sports.
UGA's athletic program does indeed suck.

Winning a playoff game is a lot more than a moral victory. But Auburn fans wouldn't know anything about the playoffs.

We've actually won "something".
I love the new standards of schools like UT and AU.Somehow NC's are the only thing that matters and you guys now have the same standards of Bama,OSU,USC and Oklahoma and of course conference championships mean nothing.
