I find this weird, because I’ve watched SEC sports for 35 years and I’ve always referred to Tennessee as Tennessee, not UT. Growing up in LA, maybe because Texas is closer, who knows, didn’t even know it was a thing.

I’d like to propose that we all refer to Texas as “UTx” since they’re the new kids, and Tennessee can keep “UT” since they’re OGs in the SEC.
