Atlanta kids go to Auburn for Math, Engineering, and Biological necessities that gain $80,000 careers in such Degrees.

Atlanta kids go to UGA because their Mother and Father got a tax-break in April and told their children that majoring in English and Early Childhood Education for a B.S. would pull in $40,000...and that everything is going to be alright.

While letting the House get repossessed.

Frick that. I’m all for SEC pride but beating your rivals is what makes college sports so much fun. Frick being friends. I like watching my rivals lose almost as much as watching AU win.

How do you 'splain the fact that metro Atlanta kids have to resort to Auburn after getting rejected by UGA? I know many. It's never the other way around.

The largest majors at UGA are Biology (pre-med), Finance, Psychology (pre-med), Marketing, Management, MIS, and Comp Sci

How do you 'splain how UGA never had an Engineering Degree offered in their entire history until your good ole' boys ripped it from Georgia Tech 9 years ago.

Jealousy is a bad trait. The Bible says that it is a sin.

Lottery Money created a very horrible Engineering Department in Athens.

I would not hire, nor even accept an Engineering Degree from UGA any time soon.

Have fun with your $50,000 overall degrees, University-wide.

Quality over quantity.

Auburn is the step sister to the UGA program for sports and academics.

No one says I got into GA and Auburn and choose Auburn.

For what wage, and where?

$80,000 vs $50,000 is an odd discrepancy.

Different Degrees and Curriculum will do that.

Southern Poly merged with Kennesaw St, leaving a void for more common civil and mechanical engineering degrees/ jobs in the University System (whereas Tech excels with aerospace, biomedical, chemical, etc). It’s not a conspiracy (unlike UGA’s failed med school which was undercut by the state med school program in Augusta getting pissy over losing applicants to an Athens-based program).

You keep honing in on starting wage and proposing oddly rounded numbers for degrees that are earned by only a fraction of the total student populace.

As if I don’t also know high school English teachers who graduated from Auburn.

I am new here. Just testing if my post works.

Any guidelines for using this site?

I am an Auburn fan/Grad and am looking forward to talking about mostly Football, Basketball and Baseball.

Thanks for approving me to post on this site!

Emory.

That is the Medical University of Georgia.

Say their name. E.M.O.R.Y. Embrace it.

You can't own everything in your State.

Get over yourselves.

Georgia has no Engineering program at the moment...because they tried to steal it and failed. Good.

UGA never needed one to begin with.

Remember your original educational path. And be happy with it.

Use your strengths. You are not a very impressive University educationally speaking when it comes to money.
