Can Texas A&M match Arkansas’ football success?

0 SEC Football Conference Championships in 28 years..
vs
0 SEC Football Conference Championships in 9 years..

They both appear to be doing their job.
Get out of the way for the Big 6 to kick their arse..

Looks like we need a tiebreaker.

0 National Titles in their entire Baseball History
vs
0 National Titles in their entire Baseball History

Doh. Guess we need another tiebreaker..

I'd say your Petrino teams were actually better than your SEC West Champ teams

They were certainly better than A&M

Although that's not historically unusual for Arkansas

Nutt got in the way. If Arkansas had better coaching then they certainly would have won the SEC in either 06 or 07.

Nutt did because no good coach would ever let Reggie Fish field a punt.

You can bet we would have won a lot more than 1 Big 12 championship those in 20 years y'all hung around with Big Bro.

A&M's top 3 seasons since joining the SEC (9 years)

2020: 9-1, #4, Orange Bowl Champion
2012: 11-2, #5, Cotton Bowl Champion
2018: 9-4, #16, Gator Bowl Champion
Winning %: 80.5%, Avg Finish: 8.2

Arkansas top 3 seasons since joining the SEC (29 years)

2011: 11-2, #5, Cotton Bowl Champion
2010: 10-3, #12, Sugar Bowl Runner Up
2006: 10-3, #16, SEC Runner Up, Capital One Bowl Runner Up

Looks like we've already surpassed your accomplishments in 1/3 of the time.

Man I forgot about that Reggie Fish muffed punt. Arkansas was so close to winning that game.

Why did you never finish higher than any Big 12 Champion in the rankings then?

They had a puncher's chance in that 2006 SEC Championship Game. But it was tough to beat those Tebow teams.

That was still Chris Leak in 06. Game was close until Arky fumbled a punt deep in their own territory. Plus we got fired up when UCLA upset USC earlier.

Hard to finish ahead in the rankings when y'all were coasting through Rice, Baylor, Kansas and the rest of the sisters of the poor while we're playing Bama, LSU, Florida, Georgia etc...

Texas was ranked higher than us last week, cause rankings matter duh.

I know it, you know it, everybody that's a football fan knows it. Ask Texas or KState (2 teams from the Big?12 that got punched in the mouth) y'all have our number the last decade, but don't pretend that Aggie has caught up with Arkansas in anything, cause it ain't so.

I think it speaks to how bad the west was in the 90s than it does to how good Arkansas was.

Yeah on the flip side of that, our 2010 and 2011 teams that went 10-3 and 11-2 were much better than two of those teams that won the West but the division was so stacked back then that we finished 3rd in the West and #5 in the country

Yes but that team won nine games with a retard as a head coach, a QB that couldn't pass which is perfect under a Nutt offense and overall a very undisciplined team.

Nutt would still have found a way to lose. It is in his DNA.

You just described most teams under Miles and Orgeron.

Let’s Add basketball. 2nd major sport.

Arkansas won NC in year two of SEC and had runner up finish in year 3

Aggies are ok at football, straight trash in basketball and bad at baseball
