Are you saying that Texas was the real prize? You people are delusional if you are. Yeah the SEC fans really wanted a bunch of entitled nobodies who couldn’t even win in the Big 12 and think they can buy anything and anyone. Heck we already had A&M for that. Why would we want Texas?

The SEC wants the money and visibility of two of the most storied programs in CFB history?

We should add cheerleaders to the yell leaders on the sideline. Then yes, we can change our image.

Since this thread was bumped, let me just extend my gratitude to the Aggies who responded honestly.
I meant no real harm.

And Kim Jong Un is unanimously re-elected every time.
The only reason A&M voted yes was because it was already inevitable and we negotiated a home win vs y’all in year 1.

Seems like I remember (way back) students used to vote whether they should allow female yell leaders. Students always voted no.
Do they still put that up for vote these days?

In reality, at the time of the 2012 expansion the “prize” was State of Texas cable subscribers in anticipation of negotiating and launching the SEC Network.
Today streaming changes that calculus, but it sure worked well at the time.

The last female to run was in 2017 and didn't get the vote.
The corps historically overwhelms the student vote. Most of the yell leaders are in the corps, although it isn't a requirement.
Our international students don't give a shite and probably don't even know what's going on.

A&M believes in tradition, apparently more so than anywhere else. You can get girls holding signs that say “cheer” and pom-poms anywhere else.
Having female cheerleaders holding signs IS a college tradition.
Having dudes as cheerleaders that do aggy sign language all game is gay AF!
You are in denial.

What about men pretending to be female cheerleaders?

I know quite a few popular people in high school that I could buy 100 times over. One of them cleans my house every week and one cleans my pool. Another works at my golf club and ensures I have my tee times aligned every week.
Nerds usually grow up to be STEM majors and we own the rest of you.
Congrats on your high school domination. We will keep our millions in the bank.
So the fake fan fiction doesn't just end at writing up opposing fans feedback on the A&M fan travel experience.

We had the refs in pocket for Mizzou, you don’t think we’ve backed the truck up for our game?

It’s also a better school than A&M…

You will need to take that question to the aggies that host Draggieland every year on the Gay & M campus.
Dudes dressing like milkmen and doing queer af sign language is outright gay 100%.

Aggie jokes are written by Aggies. We call that good bull which means well done.
Traditions are important but they change over times. I graduated in 85 and some of things we did like quadding are no go now. Quadding was taking a buddy and holding him down outside while we poured buckets of water from the fourth floor of the dorm. It was all good fun.
Another was the steam tunnel. We used to wander around campus underground and paint our names on the walls.

I'm sorry but I need to give that a downvote.
