They can have our win from 2020....oh wait, nevermind

There is zero percent chance they don’t give Leach an exception

That’s not the official record on the NCAA record books. 89-70-1 = 56%

I don’t really care about the losses. The guy was in the prime of his career and it was taken away from him because of a bad decision by his school and power or media narrative. Prior to his firing he had 8 straight years of at least 8 wins at Texas tech. Then, he had to start all over in a terrible situation at Wash St 2 years later. Give him back the 2 missed seasons and the time he had to rebuild at Wash St and the guy has, in a conservative estimate, an additional 28 wins and 5 less losses for a grand total of 186-102(.671).
Leach’s coaching record.

They’d be worthless if they reject him. It’s crazy to think that a lot of Tennessee’s success this year is because of what he started

He should be in for being an innovator of the game offensively in the 80's. He was way ahead of his time.

There are exceptions. Gene Stallings is in. He did not have the career winning percentage typically required.

That includes the 8 wins that were forfeited in 1993 (so instead of being 9-3-1, they were 1-12). I'm seeing his winning % as "Officially" 89-70-1 right around 55% with that adjustment.
Here is an article covering his induction into the HOF from Tide Illustrated (alabama.rivals.com) that also lists his record as 89-70-1.

That's nice, but the CFB HOF isn't retarded and still recognizes what actually happened on the field.

CFB HOF recognizes what actually happened on the field. Like a normal, non-retard should.

Guess he should've beaten one of those FCS teams he lost to.

I volunteer to forfeit Bama's last two games against him. Why the frick not?

Hey idiot, miss state had 16 players off the two deep out for the bowl game against Texas tech due to COVID “contact tracing”. They had third string linebackers playing on the d line. Another game that most coaches wouldn’t even have played in

I think it’s a done deal he gets in. His record merits it plus he’s got enough goodwill to fill the Grand Canyon. Consider all the stories that have come out about the lives this man touched … I saw multiple new ones today that have not been on this forum yet, but you hesitate to make it all Leach all the time.

You seem very upset over this.
I’m just telling you what his official record is. And either way, Gene Stallings didn’t make the Hall of Fame solely because of said record. He made it because of his work off the field. As should Mike Leach.

You seem to be melting over something that Leach probably gave no fricks about himself.

Because then Golding might have to return his performance bonuses. Can't have that. He worked so hard.
