Actually, most LSU fans realize what the situation is in BTR and are happy with the core they got on ESD. What is nauseating is the classes UTw and aTm bought at Costco and listening to them gloat about it like they are superior programs.

Man it’s not even the whole NIL thing. Schools have been paying kids for years and years. A&M is an easy target to bitch about it since it has now became legal. Jimbo wants to recruit to win a NC just like any other college football coach and program. A&M has a hell of a kid in Bobby Taylor who got real close to slot of recruits and they all deciddd to come play together. Why the hell not?!?! Is there money being paid, probably yes, but why not but hell every school is doing it now. If paying was the main issue they would go to other schools. It’s Jimbos recruits, the young staff he has assembled, and what A&M gives these kids in a degree that has them coming. I guarantee you LSU/Alabama offered these kids a shite ton of cash to come play as well.

Your answer was weak. You refused to answer the question properly. Obviously, what you said was a “statement,” but what kind of statement was it? Was it a threat? Was it a warning? Was it joke? A lie perhaps?
Here you are threatening again, but you are unable to be a big enough person to admit that you were threatening the other poster on here. You got called out and you can’t handle your business without vulgarity and threatening behavior.

NIL threatens the status quo.
The status quo has been GREAT, if you're Alabama. Best coach in the country, able to build enough facilities to keep up with the Jones' ... and Hell, you can always pay Nick more to stay. And as long as Nick stays, he'll grab that talent from LA, ARK, MS, GA, FLA - and put it to use better than anybody.
It's been damn fun, I imagine, to be an Alabama fan over the last ten years.
But now the status quo is fricked. Look, I think these Aggies are kinda' weird. Anybody that cheers while dudes in outfits that are a cross between the Village People, the Oompa Loompas, and the Good Humor Ice Cream Man thrust their asses out at each other are not to be trusted. Tradition be damned. Rum, sodomy, and the lash used to be tradition.
Be that as it may. They went out and bought themselves a recruiting class. Tell me, exactly, why every school in the country builds more and more facilities - as fast as they can afford - while showering their favored coaches in cash and merchandise as fast as they can pitch it ?
I'm pretty sure Alabama doesn't like Nick Saban that much - on a personal level - so much that it just makes them feel better to pay him around ten million a year. They pay the man because he attracts talent - and by paying him that much they give him street cred to attract even more talent.
Maybe A&M just went out and bought talent instead. So what. They just went straight to the source. Smart. If they keep this up - Jimbo will indeed beat Saban.
Hell - I can beat Phil Ivey - if his deck of cards has all deuces and mine has all Kings.
