Can Mizzou defeat another top 10 team?

Mizzou has started 5-1 the past four seasons.
Their worst regular season final record during that stretch was 8-4.
This is the point in the season is when they usually take a body blow. Enter #9 ranked Ole Miss this weekend.
I want to believe in this team, but it’s hard to imagine them taking down the #1 qb in the country on his home turf.
An Ole Miss win is likely.

Agree, and then the wheels fall off against Texas, Georgia, and Oklahoma

If we win they drop out of the top ten and by years end we will not beat any top ten teams. Then everyone will say we beat nobody's. If Mizzou runs the table then wins the conference championship the wins the natty then it will because it was a down year. This is our lot in life.

You're still pretending Florida was a Top 10 team?

They were ranked #8 at the time.

If Mizzou continues to play physical and their running back continues to gash defenses, anything is possible.
Mizzou deserves their credit this year.

We'll take it.

History says a Drinkwitz led Mizzu won't beat any SEC team that goes 5-4 or better in SEC play this season and so FL looks to definitely not reach 5 - 4 in SEC play now.

Let’s hope it’s a year he continues to buck the trends.

I believe in Mizzou.
Glad we play you in Athens this year.
CoMo alarms me.

This is going to be a tough one for Mizzou! Historically, we’ve had a bad habit of coming up short when the lights are brightest and the stakes are highest. That has to change if we want to be taken seriously in this league. You don’t earn respect in the SEC by talking about it—you earn it by going out and winning these big-time games. It’s time for Mizzou to take that next step as a program and prove we belong among the SEC’s elite. Now go out there and get it done, Tigers!

Florida already has 2 losses with Texas and Georgia next. There will be ample opportunity for Florida to drop one more. Shockingly if Mizzou is going to beat anyone that will finish the season with a winning SEC record that team will probably be Kentucky. they have a decent shot to get to 7-1 (5-1) by next weekend.
