Must we repeat this thread every year?
Every team who is already assured of hosting a regional (LSU and Arkansas are) will play as hard as they can in the SEC tourney, under the parameters of not burning up any arms for any reason, letting some kids who need the at bats play and resting anyone who is a little beat down from a long season.
They aren’t “not trying”, but they do want to be as ready as possible for a push to Omaha.
Just enjoy the games and know what you are watching. It happens every stinking year.
