I think one time ole miss was ranked number one preseason and was unranked at the end.

This. 7-5 regular season, gave up 51 points twice, lost by 30 to Florida, lost to an Arkansas team that had been 4-7/1-6 in conference.

I don't understand what's so embarrassing about Kentucky missing the tourney. Didn't they lose all 5 starters to the NBA? They were relying on a freshman heavy class of players this year.

this season for Kentucky was the worst. Miss the tourny and then get embarrassed by Robert Morris...
