The reaction of some of our fans is annoying a ridiculous. Newly hired Alabama head coaches have historically had very mediocre at best records in their first seasons.
Granted, no first year Alabama coach has taken over a more loaded team than Deboer but the thing Alabama fans and other fans for that matter don't fully understand is taking over a Saban team in 2024 is much different than taking over a Saban team in say 2018 due to NIL changing the year to year dynamics of roster continuity. It's still the best situation any first year Alabama coach has walked into but it isn't the absolutely stacked roster situation Deboer would have walking to say 5 years ago.
Agreed on looking at Tennessee and Auburn's situations and being happy we're not them. Much less so with Tennessee than Auburn though as Tennessee has finally rebuilt to a point where they are a legit college football playoff team this season
As for Saturday, this year's Tennessee team is more than capable of beating Alabama by 10+ especially if Alabama continues to struggle with penalties and we have a couple or more turnovers coupled with the Alabama defense's inexperienced secondary, it's inability to consistently stop the run, and our inability to get off the field on 3rd down. That combined with our consistent struggles with false starts and holding penalties on offense in big road environments the last few seasons are what concern me most about Saturday

Bama is going to do what everybody else has been doing to your offense and you're going to be in another low scoring game you didn't anticipate.

I’m a male in my upper 20’s. I’m not wasting my time creating an “alter” account. You and your butt buddy just have unrealistic takes on Tennessee football and constantly sound like dumbasses. Which is probably why none of y’all’s post ever get upvoted. I’m a realistic Tennessee fan. We’ve done absolutely nothing this year for me to think we’re going to just get an easy W against Bama.
