Let the downvotes begin but I just don't get his hype

He was playing with a true freshman QB in an offense that was geared towards running the football and throwing quick hitters. He also shared touches with a 1st round tight end and a 3rd round WR.

I don't know if he should be a Top 20 overall player, but he's a really good player.

I think he'll have a nice season and be a pretty high draft pick...based on what he's done, the ranking is too high and that's some creative logic to assume that he's going to have a breakout Jr season like Jones and Cooper did (he had a mediocore SO year so he'll have a great JR year like others before him).

While they lost a couple targets, Bama reloaded at WR like a MF'er...there's also Robert Foster who I bet will finally put it together and have a good year (could be wrong about that one though given the influx of talent there). I bet Ridley ends up with 700 yards, 10 TD's something like that....very good but not Earth shattering. The guy is borderline elite but hasn't proven to be absolutely elite yet IMO.

Jeudy and Ridley will be a great combo this year.

Foster will have a big year too. Started out great last year before he tore his shoulder up.

That was 2 years ago

I hope Foster contributes, but I'm not holding my breath.

I think Rig knows that. I think rig just used this opportunity for a shameless plug for little bro.

He's a good player for sure but should he be ranked that high?

I don't know how high he should be ranked, but he's a very, very good WR. He just didn't have a QB that could get the ball anywhere near him last year, except on little screens. We'll see if that changes this year.

Ridley is as good as coop, he just didn't have a QB that could make intermediate throws, or deep balls. It'll be a shame if hurts doesn't improve this year because it will be an incredible waste of a really great receiving core.

Pic of Riley Ridley makes it look like a pee wee football. Great big soft hands, fast and lanky, he's gonna be a good one. Sophomore.

If I am not mistaken, he's approaching the age to start receiving Social Security benefits. He should dominate this year.

The freshman QB who couldn't pass deep, was the reason for the low stats for Ridley last year.

Ohhhhhh so NOW Hurts is a bad passer? Gotcha.

He wasn't a great passer, no, and he was a very bad deep ball passer last season.

Was anyone disagreeing with that?

Were you under the impression that many, even Bama fans, thought Hurts was a good deep ball passer last year?

You're welcome to check my post history for my opinion on Hurts' passing.
