Calvin Ridley Hype

ESPN released their top 50 players for the upcoming season. Ridley was ranked 18th. He's a good player for sure but should he be ranked that high?
Last year, he ranked 94th in country in receiving yards. In the SEC, he was ranked 9th in both receiving yards and touchdowns. He only had one monster game early in the season vs Kentucky and all but disappeared in the CFB playoffs.

He is one of the best receivers in the country, a 1st round pick.
His freshman year was better then Cooper or Jones.
The freshman QB who couldn't pass deep, was the reason for the low stats for Ridley last year.

I feel like this is deja vu. Both Julio and Cooper had sophomore slumps before breakout junior seasons. And coincidentally all with more veteran QBs.

Ridley was a monster as a freshman. His stats weren't bad last year either, he just had a rookie QB who scrambled a lot and couldn't throw it deep accurately. I'm guessing he has a big year this year. He's a 1st round talent.
