That’s exactly the problem. The rest of the country thinks Coach O is what all Louisians people are like and his antics are how all Louisiana act.
It is hard to stomach … he keeps reinforcing a national stereotype, not helped by a student body who likes to chant STTDB, etc. God, what an embarrassment.

If all the most visible poeple from your state embody the worst stereotypes associated with your state, it might be time to accept those stereotypes as your state's reality.

A lot of wisdom and truth in that statement. The citizens of Louisiana are not the most introspective bunch though.
