I will say that Florida will be the 3rd toughest game of the regular season for Alabama.

Florida hasn't fallen off THAT much.

Brantley should be more at home in the pro-style system. At least, that is my perception.

I would agree that they are either 2nd or 3rd toughest. I am not ruling out UF to win the East, even though it looks like UT and UGA will be better (and of course USCe). UF's defense will be stout and Boom will bring the heat.

LSU is a given.

I wanna say Penn State because it is the second game of the season, in Happy Valley, with a inexperienced quarterback. However, I think Alabama can just pound the ball down their throat and wear their arse out. I think the game at Mississippi State will be tougher than most Alabama fans think...

Alabama lost to South Carolina last year. I'm sure you didnt expect that either. Florida will be tough this year. They have recruited in the top 5 all throughout Urban Myers tenure. Its all about the horses in the SEC.

LSU (obvious major contender for the SEC/NC)
Arky (flagship or not, you can't beat us. May be close though)
MSU (Something about this team screams "TRAP" to me)
UF (Probably going to be weak still, but highly talented)
Penn St (They couldn't do shite vs Trent last year, they aren't stopping him this year either)

in that order

Lately, for sure. Still think it will be a tough, close game.

LSU and FL since it's a road game will be tough.

Truthfully there are no gimmes in the SEC (especially the west) and a game that looks like a cakewalk can be a tough one if your team isn't ready to play.

Im assuming every team the Tide plays has Bama slated as their toughest game.

Combine the tornado with AD dying and last season's losses...and I don't see why the kids shouldn't be ready to go every game.

Why not? It's one of those games that either team can win any given year, but the one that won isn't always the better team that year.

LSU and at Happy Valley. It's no easy place to play, and they're bringing the full stadium white out. Be ready, I'm calling an upset for that game.

I doubt they really took AD passing on to hard.. he wasn't on the team but a few months, was constantly in trouble, and was a former UT player.

There's no reason for a team to ever not get up for a game though. Every game and every play counts.
