I wonder what people were saying about Satan and bama after 3 losses in 2010? Pretty much the same things they are saying now. We won 2 championships right after that

Saban was a lock to be the Cowboys head coach after Wade was fired.

Nobody said that much because nobody knew he was building a dynasty at that point. It looked like he got his title at Bama in 09 and didn't think much beyond that.

Saban has reduced the haters to basically "HAHA, ya'll didn't win the national championship again this year"

When an 11-2 year and a final top 10 ranking is considered a major disappointment, you know your program is in a great place.

I do love this.

I never imagined we would be so solidly on top of college football that the losing team in the BCS championship game is bragging for keeping US from winning the title.

It really is a great feeling. Roll Tide.

Saban's time is definitely running out. Bobby Bowden is the only coach in the history of college football to win a national championship past the age of 67. Saban will turn 63 or 64 next year. When Saban leaves, Alabama will probably go back to the Shula, Franchione, and DuBose years

one non-NC year after we won the last two NCs doesnt mean the process is halted. Its means you frickers got real lucky
An Alabama fan calling somebody else lucky is hilarious when your supposed dynasty was built on lucky things like Colt McCoy getting injured in the championship game back in 2009 and backing into the championship game in 2011 without even winning the western division

What does that have to do with the fact that we are sitting real pretty for the forseeable future and will likely win more championships? Deal with it.

Just like your dumb arse student section was doing the Tomahawk Chop during the basketball game while your softball team was actually playing FSU

Also, from the tone of this thread 2013 was just a blimp on the radar and you guys fully expect to be hoisting a trophy in Dallas at the conclusion of the 2014 season? Cause that's kinda presumptuous for a team in rebuilding mode with a coach struggling to adjust to the evolvement of the game

Haha "kid"... If you're over 19 I would be very surprised.... But then again you could be a senior citizen that's life hangs on the balance of 18-20 year old kids... I'd probably go with the latter...

I will never understand why AU folks know so much more about the day to day things that are going on with my alma mater than I do.... I had no idea our softball team was playing FSU while our crappy basketball team was beating AU.

Who said any coach is invincible? It is a false premise.

Calipari has won one national title, and only in the year of the NBA lockout.
