This is Bama's best offensive line since 2012. This offensive line doesn't have any obvious weaknesses like RT Dom Jackson from 2015.
The interior started off shaky, but since Piersbacher went back to left guard they have been lights out. Bama has the best combination of tackles in the conference. The Freshman has out played Cam and some people are down on him, but he played against Barnett and Myles Garrett in back to back weeks and held up pretty well considering the circumstance.

Etling is going to have to become SUPERMAN just to survive this game uninjured. I'd put the odds of him getting injured at betterthan 50-50 for a thousand reasons but mostly because Alabama's D is the most destructive force in college football.
What a classless fan base. Bama's defense isn't injuring anybody.

Etling has looked at point and ok at others. Hes been a great competitor though.
Hurts is a freshman whos still really finding a passing game. Top notch runner though.
Whoever gets pressure on the qb will be the likely winner. That means pressure from the d and game situation. Meaning LSU cant spot Hurts points with a defensive td. Thats how LSU can beat Bama...otherwise... Na.

I did. My mistake. I was searching for the line at my offshore book and there was no posted line. I googled other offshore books and found the article. I read it and never suspected it was 5 years old. Wonder what the line will be?? No guessing from me now.

LSUs pro style offense hasn't worked against bama. With NFL talent at every position it topped out at 17 pts. That's been the ceiling. I'm not sure if the coaching change will be sufficient to account for the fact that Bama defenses own pro style offenses.

best Bama O-line in the last 4 season
No it isn't bud.
The 2012 OL was 4 years ago and one of our best ever. I don't know if it's been very good since. Our 2016 OL has been improving dramatically the last 3 games or so.

AU fans really are scared of Jalen Hurts. Have spent all year trying to convince everyone else how bad he is.

Not scared one bit, but keep trying to convince yourself and other Bama fans that he is anything other than just a passable passer. He is Nick Marshall 1.5.
Only difference between the 2 is Marshall could throw deep and not hit the easy stuff. Hurts can hit the easy stuff but can't hit the deep ball with any consistency what-so-ever.

And Hurts is a true freshman who is only going to get better...

I would sell you for a pack of bubble gum, because that's what you and your opinion combined are worth. Seems like I wouldn't have many buyers though.

I agree that he will get better, but that arse clown tried to insinuate that AU fans are scared of Hurts because I posted facts that show he is a mediocre passing QB.
This whole BS going on on this board right now with all the 'scared' shite every time someone posts something is getting fricking ridiculous. Be glad when the game between you guys gets here and is over with so this shite will stop.

Go lick your brother's ball sack again.

Sell big time. He's gonna get crushed by Bama. Sack city for Bama.

it has much, much more to do with our OL and other blockers than with Etling. I agree bama with bring the house against our Offense and it is our job to burn them for that. the HUGE difference from years past is that we will not simply run our tailback up the middle on most plays trying to outmuscle bama's dline and allowing their lb's to fill the gaps.
can LSU execute well enough to do that? time will tell. but it's not likely to be the scenario you portray; that was last year with the hard headed les miles.

Agree but I'll add something many here are ignoring: wrinkles from lessons learned.
LSU coaches know very well that Bama is a sack feasting animal, and I don't think they are naive enough to believe that MT (and others) will suddenly turn up his game to be effective. I expect some insightful play calling that doesn't allow Bama to inflict blunt force trauma. They know very well that a well developed pocket will not exist, so I expect some quicker throws and low read options to physical miss matches (tall receivers). Screens are typically snuffed out by Bama as well.....maybe some inside shovel passes.
Who the frick knows.
One thing the Tigers need to do is keep their intensity on track/focused. Don't burn out early by over pursuing and dropping assignments. Play hard, fast, aggressive but business-like.......like Bama.
