Yeah, they were wrong their. Also, Pat Dye got 45 yards in penalties on a single play in 1984 at Doak Cambell against FSU that resulted in a 3rd and 55.

People complaining that SEC refs weren't calling holding penalties against Bama?

Must be a first.

You Bama fans have really taken this Iron Bowl win hard.

Sorry for your victory it seems to have caused you a lot of pain.

Im good with you posting it. It doesn't hurt to be reminded the refs changed the complexion of the game. 4th quarter, 6 point turns into a two score game on a bad call. It's worth noting again.

This, plus why do Bama fans want the Auburn announcers fired . did we hurt the Bama fans feelings. Do they need a safe place?

So, some of you don't think Will should have gotten that penalty? Seriously?

Also, Stan is just the worst. What a whiney little bitch he is.

I don't think I could ever envision a moment where Eli Gold would say anything like that.

Chris Stewart, on the other hand...

These are always fun in a thread about some announcers whining, and then a poster whining about it. Then I have to point it out and then people will say I am whining. Then I will tell them they are whining about me whining, about you whining about some announcers whining.

It's all such a vicious circle to keep up with. Enjoy your win and have a wonderful day

Why would the refs call something that was clearly impossible? Weren't Auburn fans telling the Rant a couple months back that their new UA uniforms prevented holding?

No. Stewart might might try to make a funny comment about it, but he wouldn't have gone to the length that Stan and his buddy did. Stewart is also quick to mention when we get away with a call as well.

I *want* our guys to be big fans of our team. But jeez, a LITTLE BIT of objectivity is good to hear. This was pathetic.

The funniest part was when they said (and I paraphrase) "The coach has the right to speak to the refs about the play. That's all they were doing, speaking to the officials."

Um... no. I think Muschamp was discussing sexual acts that are still illegal on the books in Alabama, ancestry of the official's mother, and perhaps illegal immigration - all in one or two one-way sentences.

Dude, you've taken this one hard. Now you're commenting on replies that weren't even toward you. Everything will be OK.
