That is the problem with Bama QB’s. They no longer have the 5 star lineman in front of them in the NFL (while everyone else has 3 star linemen). When everything else is equal they become average QB’s.
Everything gets skewed on the college level because the talent around them is so much superior to the other schools.

I love the post but making it as an NFL QB is more about timing and being a good fit than it is being good. Even Mahomes could have fallen into obscurity if not for the right people around him.
