Texans have a a stockpile of picks from
Cleveland and Watson deal. They will have their 1 and Cleveland top 10 this year. Plus likely very high the next year and more browns picks.
Not such a bad place to be if they hire a decent coach. Sean Payton should be considering them.

Bryce will go pro.
Alabama probably had the best QB, best pass rusher, and one of the best RBs in the country and yet almost lost 4-5 games.

Could we afford to do it? Sure, apparently you have no idea how much money we can throw around. I don’t think that’s terribly likely to happen though.
The Texans are likely to be just as bad next year, so Bryce’s agent could simply tell them under no circumstances would he play for them so draft someone else. It’s not like that has never happened.
Or someone could trade up. Lots of moves yet to be made for the draft.
