On average probably true (I've been in both) as LSU fans turn on their team and stop cheering I hinds go south very quickly. But when hey are on and it's loud there's none louder

No amateur football team in the history of the world could have won in Bryant Denny in 2011 except for the LSU Fighting Tigers.

I was at the 2001 lsu bama game and when bama recovered a fumble the bama fans erupted with cheers and pom poms.
it's the pom poms that puts Bryant denny over the top. Tiger stadium yells louder than Bryant denny, but when the bama fams add in pom poms, it is louder than tiger stadium because lsu fans don't do pom poms

Even if Tiger Stadium IS louder, that hasn't really helped LSU win any against Alabama. Death Valley is like Alabama's home away from home

Bryant Denny is louder, less drunks. Drunks fade out the longer the game goes and by the time the 4th quarter starts not much of a contest on noise.
