If we had started Hooker from the start we’d be sitting 4-1 w/ a win over Pitt.
We still have no depth and injuries will kill us as we go if they pile up. Our D still isn’t that great but had a great game Saturday all things considered. Bama and UGA are L’s but we can win any of the rest of the games if we play disciplined.
Agreed.
Our weakest point is the secondary. Can't cover an 80 year old cripple at this point.

Eh. Glad we won. Could have done much better. Casey Thompson no longer has an all-time great QBR for the season anymore. We had a ton of drops. Got 3 turnovers and settled for 3 field goals when we were previously the #1 redzone offense.
Team has a lot to work on before the OU game, which is good. We should beat the piss out of OU this year.

OUr team is the same as it was Game One…..lucky to be undefeated but know it’s coming.

I’d love to give an honest assessment of my Auburn Tigers. But how the hell can I? This team is bipolar and suffering from severe case of multiple personality disorder. There’s no telling what team will show up from week to week or even quarter to quarter.
We’re just as likely to not win another game as we are to win them all. In other words, it’s just another run of the mill Auburn football season.

Brutally honest assessment
UGA dominated Arkansas on every snap of the game. The talent gap between these teams is remarkable. Arkansas is still a little better than I previously thought but we have a long way to go to be able to play with a team like Georgia or Bama.

I can’t believe we didn’t frick it up

LSU wasn’t a game i thought we could win going into the season. Now it appears we have a legit shot st 7-5, maybe even 8-4.
That said, I thought this odd:

If we can rest JT the next 3 weeks (@Auburn, Kentucky, Bye) before Florida

that was a terrible Mizzou team
I'd tend to agree here.

The WLOCP will never be meaningless. I don’t care what the records are. Do you even SEC?

Offensive line tries, but is outmatched against talented defense.
Bo Nix has plenty of guts, but is still too slow on the trigger as a passer.
Hunter has more upside than Bigsby in the backfield.
Whatever zone schemes Mason is trying to install, he needs to trickle it in far more slowly. I appreciated his adjustments in the 2nd half, but that defense has been a disaster.
Receivers are still pretty bad, can't get separation, poor blocking and too many passes bounce off their hands.
Improving, but still a major work in progress.

Two wins above my pre season prediction. Could win 6 or 9. Please with what Pitboss
Has done in year two.

We finish somewhere between 10-2 and 6-6. The sec is clearly a bama and Georgia race. Then a bunch of solid teams, then vandy lsu and aTm.

(1) Our upside is higher than I had previously believed.
(2) Agree completely with CNS that the biggest negative is that we don't *FINISH*. Too much inconsistency.
(3) Robinson is a beast.
(4) We will, however, continue to suffer from all of the losses on offense from last year's team.
(5) Better chance of making the CFP than I had thought. (See item 1 above.)
(6) Still pretty well convinced that we do NOT repeat as national champs.
