Some UK fans have been calling for this since Monday. Pearl has taken every program he's coached and transformed them. Auburn was in the gutter when he got there. AU fans won't admit it but Bruce pulled them from genuine obscurity to national relevance. Same thing he did at UT. He plays defense, gets the most out of his players and is brilliant with X's and O's. If Oats would leave a historically better program in Alabama then Pearl would sure as hell leave Auburn.

Pearl would've been my number one target, but Kentucky gonna frick this up and wish they had Cal when we hit multiple final fours over the next 5 years

He's a good coach, but seems odd to let a late 60-something guy on the downward slope of his career go just to turn around and hire the exact same sort of coach. Doesn't make sense.

Who's gonna show him how to get there...? this is where a school with a fleeting history meets a coach with fleeting ability. They meet somewhere in the middle and will be just a middle of the pack SEC team.. I see yearly bubble teams there.
