We are about 50/50 in wins losses over the last 50 years with texass. Only over the last 8-10 years have we started spending money anywhere in the realm of texass. They have placed a high importance on football for 100 years.
Not our fault they spend more and do less with more.

Not exactly. The TEXAS schedule was full in advance and there was no need to pay several hundreds of thousands to buy out contracted opponents to clear space for aggy, who just said "frick you" while slinking out the back door.
You wanted your divorce and you got it. No more Longhorn dick for poor aggy's already 76-time loosened a-hole.
Aggy was on the schedule for perpetuity and decided to leave.
frick them and say "NO" to aggy. They have already tried three times to force the issue in the state legislature.
What a sad bunch aggy is. I'm sure the Georgia people last night -- after seeing Bevo, the Longhorn Band, burnt orange and hearing The Eyes of Texas -- will never see aggy as anything but a fake army school with a link to the state of Texas in name only.

Interesting but I seem to recall texass buying out a game with Hawaii once June Jones got Hawaii rolling. They canceled the game despite using it as a recruiting tool pitch.

I've read that, when the playoffs get expanded, a requirement for inclusion will be playing 9 conference games, so the SEC will make that change. I don't think A&M is excited about playing 9 SEC games and Texas. 99% of the Aggie fanbase hasn't seen a national title in their lifetime. Playing 10 tough games a year doesn't make it any easier.

They cancelled the game in Hawaii because they were already playing at Stanford on the same season and had been there four years earlier.
Only a goofy aggy would think playing at Hawaii would be a recruiting pitch for a tradition-rich school such as TEXAS.
Losers have to sell stuff like that, and conference affiliation, to overcome inherent disadvantages.

Would love to play this game. It’s just such a good time... aggy traditions of blaming losses on the refs, media, schedules, sip conspiracies, etc. are adorable and should be encouraged.

Ar the same time, Texas spewing shite of both the arse and mouth about how literally everyone but them where the direct cause of the early 2010 realignment craze is amazing and I think we should allow that to continue which means the game needs to continue to be put on the back burner
