If I were the SEC I would kick out A&M and let them go wallow back in their real conference

And the SEC Network would lose around 30% of its value overnight if they did that.

Which is why you aren't in charge of anything except when to pull the fries out of the fryer.

Untrue. Horn AD specifically cited fuel costs as the reason for cancelling.

Herman would do to jumbo what he just did to Smart this year. However it would look worse because there would be less of a talent discrepancy.

Aggy should be grateful for their TaxSlayer Bowl.

Those legislators are nuts.
And you know darn well that the overwhelming majority of Ags think so.
Not sure what you’d like us to do about the misguided opinions of a flawed sample of 2-3 people, from an overall Aggie population of hundreds of thousands.

Y’all loathed Herman at the start of this season.
Now he’s suddenly better than a national championship winning coach?
Slow your roll, Tex; time will tell.

Nothing brings out the anger and hate from Aggie than a thread about either the Big 12 and/or Texas

A&M was missing its top two tacklers against N.C. State and still held them below 300 yards and 14 points.

Missing your top 2 tacklers is not the same as missing 8 defensive starters then getting 2 more starters thrown out the game. The guy we ended up playing in the secondary probably wouldn't even start at A&M, he is that bad...

So, lets go through the 32 points...

- 7 was a pick 6, completely unrelated to the defense.
- 3 was after a short field goal after a muffed punt, UCF offense literally went 0 yards.

So basically the defense gave up 250 yards and 22 points with a second team defense against statistically the 6th best offense in the country. Your ignorance is impressive

So which was it? Was there room already, or did you have to clear room each year from your busy schedule to play A&M?

The fact is, the offer for the series to continue was on the table before the Big XII decided to do their round-robin scheduling. And the fact that you had to do round robin was a direct result of three other teams leaving your conference, not just A&M, and no one else was willing to join a conference where the ledger was stacked against them.

I've been of the mind that we shouldn't play for a while. We certainly should never, ever play you with Big XII officiating crews ever again. Maybe we should also play nine games straight in College Station to even things up if y'all want the game so bad.

I'd also like to challenge everyone to see what the record of this series is within their lifetime. 18-18 for me.

Yeah when it comes to the Big 12 we can't maintain the usual fake persona we keep up when talking about SEC programs.

Too many real feelings, too much history, for us to pretend it doesn't matter to us.

You would hate the big 12 if you had to deal with what we dealt with kn 2010 and 2011. Believe me

Only a goofy aggy would think playing at Hawaii would be a recruiting pitch for a tradition-rich school such as TEXAS.

Maybe but it was a Kurt Bohls article in the Austin American Statesman that talked about it and he was pretty critical of Dodds for canceling it.

Sounds like you know more about it than the people that cover texass for a living. Carry on....

The series won't be resumed until A&M gets over it butthurt. Texas is ready as their new AD has already approached A&M about that. Deloss Dodds is retired. At times he was an arrogant dick. The past is the past. After UT got snubbed by A&M, they scheduled Bama for a home and home in the early 2020s. Also, have a home and home with LSU the next two years.

It would be to A&M's advantage to prove they are the better program on the field as they claim. They have a $75 million coach now. I'd think Jimbo would welcome the challenge. I know Herman would. Bring it on. Let bygones be bygones. Its time to get rid of the victim complex. Getting into the SEC is nice, but you can't dickride forever. Ditto Mizzou. At least Mizzou has made it to the CCG.

I love how we have real evidence that Texas has the Big 12 refs in their pocket, the kind of evidence LSU fans would LOVE to have on Bama, and yet despite this being a pet peeve for LSU fans they completely ignore this evidence when it comes time to troll Aggie.

It shows that the majority of their complaints about the refs aren't really them advocating for fair play, its simply their chosen outlet to vent frustrations about Bama dominance.

Which is why I couldn't give one shite about LSU fans lecturing us about rooting for Bama. At least Bama wins the right way.

The first day LSU fans get together and decide "frick using Texas to troll Aggies when they are a bunch of cheaters" is the first day I say "frick Bama."
