LSU fans were sucking and fricking Ed O after 2019. I don’t really trust their evaluative capacity w/r/t head coaches.

Considering that Miles and Ed won a title at LSU, Kelly needs to win two before we can even consider this.
Miles was probably about an average HC, nothing great. He kept LSU relevant for a decade and played for 2 titles.
Orgeron was legit one of the worst coaches in D1, not just the SEC. He won a title.
Kelly may or may not be elite, but he's damn sure better than the last two guys. Given our track record, I'm not worried at all.

Eh Kelly has been here one year. One thing i know for certain Saban wouldn't of erased so much good in his first year with those embarrassing losses to A&M and GA.

I wasn’t sure if he was until the SECCG when I saw how aware his players were that a blocked FG is a live ball. When they all started jogging off the field when Chris Smith casually picked up the ball and returned it the length of the field was when I knew that he was an elite coach. The look on his face after that was one of a coach who has all of the bases covered, for sure.
