Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly said Saturday it was his decision

Everyone seems to forget Grinding Brian was involved in the case of the suicide death of a young college girl. She claimed she had been raped by a ND football player. Reportedly old Grinder ignored her accusations and was reported to have made jokes about the rape and her. As a result the girl was ridiculed and ostracized by fellow students who only cared about winning football games. She fell into a depression and committed suicide. This guy has a lot to answer for. His judgement is incredibly bad. Two young lives lost at ND and a teenage recruit who became the nationwide butt of jokes when Brian, the southern speaking LSU Dancing Queen, decided to grind on him. And made a video of it. What a dumbarse!

She went directly to BK with her accusations?

I would imagine that she went to the police and school administrators. Who in turn told old Grinder. Who apparently thought it was a big joke.

Nice fantasies. I did not see any association with Brian Kelly on these events anywhere on
Google or anywhere else. But nice attempt at somehow blaming CBK for actions of other people that he had absolutely nothing to do with. Maybe you should write stories for a living.

As for the 'southern speaking drawl' and the video - each of those lasted about 5 seconds. So since arriving in Baton Rouge on Jan. of 2022, a span of approximately 18,420 minutes, CBK spoke with a 'southern drawl' and made an amusing novelty video - both for the local media - for about 1 of those 18,420 minutes. One.

But nice 'dumbarse' opinion. Do want a dawg biscuit ????

You need to recheck google. I heard about this case from a ND fan who I met at the UGA/ND game in Athens a few years ago. He was no Kelly fan and was more than happy to put the dirt out there. I checked goggle and there it was. Complete with the young lady’s name and all the gory details.
Update
I just goggled this again. It’s there. The young girl was 19 year old Lizzy Seeburg. Old Grinder even joked about her in a conference call. He thought it was funny. There was something like a 7 month investigation into this case. And the dancing Queen didn’t come out of it looking good.
Go ahead. Google it for yourself if you dare. Warning it doesn’t make your HC look good.

So why didn't the police or school administrators take action?

Well, gotdamn, if a fan said it, it has to be true.

Refer to my former post. There was a 7 month investigation with a lot of controversy as ND and your HC tried to make the entire thing go away. There was a settlement in the end. Typical. ND pays big to make things disappear. Your new HC sounds like a good fit for LSU given your schools history for tolerating sexual abuse. Even of poor elderly women trying to earn a living by working in stadiums.

According to various news sources and court records it’s true.

Sounds like both the police and the university investigated the incident and didn't feel it held any credence.

quote:

Prosecutors did not file criminal charges due to Lizzy not being alive to testify and also because of what they described as inconsistencies in witness accounts and cellphone records. The school determined that Lizzy lied because she said the player stopped attacking her after receiving a call or a text, but phone records showed that it was the accused who called his friend.

quote:

At a closed door hearing held after the story made headlines in the national media, the accused football player was found "not responsible" and was not suspended from the team.

But again, here we have Rantards blaming BK for something he wasn't even involved in.

At some point, you have to ask, why are you people so desperate to pin something on BK?

There was a settlement. ND runs South Bend. And things get taken care of. I’m just surprised it took 7 months for them to do this settlement. With their HC cracking jokes about this young girls rape and a lot of ND fans already unhappy about the program and it’s coach I would have thought they would have paid a lot earlier

Desperate? Hardly. He is no threat to my team - who laid 50 on y’all and tossed your QB around like a limp rag doll.
Ole Grinder is a vastly overpaid coach with incredibly poor judgement. It’s fine with me if he stays as LSWho for the next 40 years. In fact I’d like that.
Who knows if y’all fired him yall might hire a coach with integrity who might be actually be competitive with the UGAs and Bamas.

Nil money. Fast cars and young people. LSWho better watch out. They could be next. Street racing isn’t confined to one school.

Link?

I can't find any evidence online of there ever being a settlement.

There was a settlement. I just read about it online. You need to read before mouthing off.

So link it.

That's fairly easy to do.

The only thing I can find related to a "settlement" was Notre Dame settling with the Department of Education over their policies and practices to avoid Title IX trouble.

That has nothing to do with an admission of guilt within the Seeberg case, specifically.

quote:

Seven months later, the university agreed to change its policies after entering into a settlement with the Department of Education. The key changes, according to the South Bend Tribune, were that victims are now "assigned a trained resource coordinator, don't have to face their alleged assailant in a hearing room and may appeal any decision reached by a campus disciplinary board."

Killing a kid would be rock bottom.

Sounds like the kind of guy that would try to put his concussed QB back on the field after he'd been laying on the ground for 20 minutes.

Genuinely not caring about the safety of your players and staff probably keeps his stress levels down and helps with that youthful appearance. The man's got it figured out.
