It's comical folks believe this is an actual possibility. Fans would be done with Auburn. Players may revolt

Of course it's a possibility. The idiot Auburn "fans" who don't actually watch football or care about the university or people's health would blame Harsin.

I saw Georgia State lead them the entire game, at JH, till the refs helped out Auburn in the last minute or so.

Not troubled.

You saw a new head coach and a team not fully bought in or acclimated to his culture play down to the talent level of a lesser than.

Remind me, again, who Saban lost to in his first year at Alabama?

I knew when they hired him they got a great one! I could see him winning several national championships!!

I like where your head is at and he has improved the team he inherited. Auburn is trending up instead of stagnant or on a downward trend that it was on under Gus.

But let's slow down on the several National Championship narrative. There are still several pieces to improve or rebuild completely. He is still finishing up laying the foundation to build a winning program upon. And so far, I'm of the opinion he has done a fantastic job of that. Excited about the future of the program moving forward.

Has he ever said that he is or is not vaccinated. Maybe the principle is that it is none of the media's business

Idiots still stuck with short term memory loss.

Fact: .... Harsin was diagnosed with Covid in August this year. Question that? The same news source that is yelling about his refusal to answer the question, was the same exact source that made the Harsin diagnosis a headline in August.

Fact: Covid Survivors cannot have the vax until after 90 days. Harsin has not been cleared that timeline yet.

Fact: This week the CDC announced that they may wave the vax requirement for those that had the virus and still have antibodies. At that point, if he clears all of that ...

AL.com is making chicken salad out of chicken poop.

Edit, bluedragon gots this…

Harsin tested COVID positive around August 20th.

That buys him 90 days before he can get even get the needle (assuming he hasn’t already). He’ll be able too see how AU cracks down on tenured professors and so on at the set deadline.

I still admire his stance of it’s none of your fricking business about my vaccination status or my players….

I do as well. Until the world stops turning and HIPPA laws are extinct ....The press can spit nickel's for all I care.

The press doesn't have the right to demand a thing.

This is true. I'm glad the season is going well, it's a lot better than the alternative, but it's one season.

Well ... he's no Mark Stoops. As Mark Stoops will tell you, modifying your game plan - just because it's not working - is for low energy, weak pussies. Halftime adjustments are for those too soft to stay committed to the scheme. Like rush three, drop eight - so what if the other team is holding the ball all damn day before picking an open receiver - because you couldn't cover them all if you dropped twelve ? Do you believe in the system, or do you not ? Mark Stoops believes.

I bet Brian Harsin does soft shite like adjust his strategy at halftime. That's not how winners do it. Or losers in Starkville. Po-tay-toe ... Po-tah-toe.

Brian Harsin. Bah !!! I bet the guy even erases stuff on his white board. Mark Stoops does it in ink - because when it's perfect, you don't change it.

Yeah, I don’t think anyone has anointed Harsin. I think everyone had pretty low expectations for Auburn this year. Auburn has been better than most thought they would be, and some believe that is because Harsin is, after all, a good coach. Time will tell. One thing I do know, the narrative has certainly changed from “can’t believe Auburn hired that bum” to “just because Auburn_________, doesn’t mean Harsin________” you can fill in the blanks.

Oh contraire, mon fraire. Great coaches do when that coach is Mark Stoops.

Envision in your mind, a game plan so sublime, so absolutely perfect, that to alter it even while it's not working would be tantamount to heresy. A game plan that transcends simple mortal measures like "hey, our fricking offense just turned the ball over AGAIN" or "frick me to tears, will their QB ever miss a throw - hell, he should just get a rocking chair with that much time".

Except you don't have to imagine. Mark Stoops gives you that game plan every Saturday he waddles out onto the field. A stratagem so impeccable in it's crystaline faultlessness that it evolves way beyond course scrutiny such as "son of a bitch, should I count MSUs first downs, or just weigh them ?". To peer at a Mark Stoops game plan is to see genius so complete that a layman such as myself can't even comprehend it.

That's just how good Mark Stoops is.

Good morning…. You are just a pup so the lastest in the series is all you know. This rivalry is cyclical and Aubie just serving notice that wind is changing direction. Aubie understands and has watched you beat your chest for years. Kirby and the Columbus “Victory Drive Flash” McGee can no longer use old Gus to negatively recruit against Aubie. Aubie has always made a living in the state of Georgia in both football and basketball and will continue to do so and the dawg will always hate that.
Now, don’t you have a Natty to win instead of messing with little ole Aubie?
