So I guess Spurrier with the Fun and Gun, Leach with the spread (that has evolved into offenses at places like A&M and now Kentucky for the second time), and others just didn't play "normal football".

I said this in the thread that got whacked, but I thought he gave the best interview of any of the coaches so far at media days.

The way it sounds is that he just doesn't care for any offense that requires his defense to actually play at a speed faster then what he can recruit for at this point and time.

That person is just talking out their arse. Bielema never said anything bad about the spread, he even said he would use it if he needed to. He only doesn't like the HUNH
