Last I checked this board Matta was basically a done deal. Sorry I didn’t know the record of the coach from Buffalo. Going from Matta to Oats in a matter of hours is underwhelming, no matter his resume at Buffalo.

Not what I'm trying to say at all. There are a ton of coaches that I can't recite their record (couldn't even tell you about our own record off the top of my head) but I will generally know if they made the tournament if I'm going to judge it. The comment wasn't just directed at you though, there have been a bunch of "basketball experts" coming out from everywhere.

I think you’re misinterpreting my post though. Underwhelming doesn’t necessarily mean bad. Just kind of a “oh ok” type hire after all the Matta rumors.
Seems to be a good coach. Definitely over succeeded at Buffalo and was insanely good in high school.
