It is amazing to me just how fast the LSU fans have turned on "their" coach. While everyone laughed at his mannerisms and gaffs the LSU fans would defend him

Now, he might have burned their children at the stake ...

he could buy 100 lawn services and that wouldn't touch how much money he will have.

It is quite amusing.

And how they are so confident in a great hire, forgetting they had to settle on the one they just fired last time.

Yeah this isn't true. The AD settled. But, he didn't have to. There's a new AD now anyway. What happened with the last hire as absolutely nothing to do with this hire.

I love when uninformed people try to come on here and tell me about my school.

Well you said that LSU had to settle. Now you're saying that the AD wasn't able to get anyone better. Which is it?

Because it's not. The AD was incompetent. You don't know what you're talking about.

He had a deal in principle with Tom Herman. When Herman went to talk to Texas after that deal was agreed to, Joe Alleva got butthurt and rushed to hire Orgeron because "he wanted to be here." He didn't go after Herman or even look to interview anyone else. He settled on Orgeron when he didn't have to. Hell, Alleva wasn't even making formal offers. All he did was put out feelers and didn't go looking to hire a coach. He was letting the coaches come to him.

Well that seems to be consistent at least.

Scott Woodward's last two hires at LSU were two of the top coaches in the country.

Jesus Christ you're stupid. I never said that. Once Alleva decided he was done with Herman because Herman went to talk to Texas, Alleva didn't then go try to hire a different coach. He settled on Orgeron.

Take a lap. You're done here.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Let me help you see reality. Even if your ad had gone balls to the wall, you were STILL getting turned down. So yes, you still would have had to settle. Does that make it simple enough for you to comprehend? Or is it still too complex? "Hurr durr if our ad has tried really hard we still could have got shot down by the best candidates." Ok dummy.

Good luck on the next coach you have to settle for.
