LSU gets a huge advantage over A&M

What?

Oh wait, you're right. LSU gets the advantage of playing Florida on Nov. 19th while A&M gets UTSA. Then they play on the short week. My bad for not seeing the advantage.

Roadrunners > Gators.

Oh so the weather Saturday and Sunday must have been terrible right?

And if you were just going to bitch out and move the game to Baton Rouge anyway why not do it last weekend?

I need to find the Rita graphic when LSU played Tennessee on a Monday.

Absolutely nothing changed about that storm on Thursday morning to make them more concerned about safety. Should have been there from the beginning.

THAT'S WHY LSU WANTED TO HAVE SOME CONTINGENCIES EXPLORED!

FFS, it's like half of the rant can't comprehend simple logical progressions.

LSU knows the impact of hurricanes. LSU, therefore, tried to get alternatives for Saturday at Noon. FLORIDA refused to discuss anything else and then cancelled.

Now they get their wish and get the game 42 days later. They just didn't get their entire wish and have it played in Gainesville too.

Wait till Florida fans find out UF paid contracts for Presbyterian and South Alabama.

You tell me...

The agreement also stipulates the game will kick off no later than 3:30 p.m. ET, the Florida statement said.

UF scared to play at night.

Foley got the better of Aleva but UF came out looking like a bitch. Lose-lose for everyone IMO.

Seems like the most logical solution for both sides.

That being said, the meltdown if lsu lost the game, and then had to go to Gainesville two years in a row would be hilarious.

How the frick does LSU end up getting a home game out of this?

What a disaster for the Florida AD, if true.

Balanced out by giving us the 2017 game in Gainesville, then returning to the normal schedule in 2018 (also in Gainesville).

when the game was postponed last weekend, UF was always was working to reschedule it, lsu's AD was the the one who was adamant the game was cancelled instead of postponed, but if anything this makes our home schedule better next year.... we get Tennessee, lsu, Texas A&M, and Florida state in the swamp, that's going to be a hell of a home schedule for the season ticket holders.

Nice for LSU but now they have to play at UF in 2017 and 2018 so really nice that UF gets back to back homes games with the tigers

Seriously, everyone even Florida fans were okay with this option last week but LSU fans kept saying 2016 should be in BR and they should get 2017 in BR as well. Foley fought for and received an even bargain.

So Florida at LSU in 2016, LSU at Florida in 17 and 18.

Ultimately we end up with one of the solutions suggested last weekend but it costs both teams a ball game this year.

This is true. I take it LSU wasn't offering up the '17 home game for an impromptu home game in '16.
At least plans for fans can be made more methodically now.

Is it even or odd years Florida typically plays 4 home (in Gainesville) SEC games?

Looking at the end results with the schedules for this year and next, I don't see how our fans feel LSU won. Look at how we finish the year this year, murderers row + having to play the aggies on the road only 5 days later. Next year, LSU will have a grand total of 3 conference home games if I am r reading the schedule correctly. In the meantime, what did Fla lose, exactly? Lost revenues will be made up through an insurance policy if that coverage remains in place. They get time to rest & heal up all those banged up players. They get LSU in the middle of murderers row, when LSU could easily be beat to shite. And yet, FOLEY is the one acting like a 12 yr old?
