LSUs 4th string RB would be your starter.

Ashton Shumpert, our starter, had a higher YPC than Fournette last year. You're talking about a backfield with multiple 4 star kids fighting for the job, don't be an idiot.

His returning WR's averaged 14.4, 16.3, and 16.6 YPC last year. I'm sure we will miss the NR and 2 star players we lost every bit as much as you think we will.

I'm pretty excited about the fact we won't have the 2013 Longhorn defensive personnel lining up for us when you guys come to town.

Given Steele's history, we only need to keep them from scoring about 70 points to win. Fournette hasn't scored enough in his carreer to cover that shite.

Bless that heart man. You know as well as I do what happened with tx. But it's ok if you want to use that season in that situation as "evidence"

quote:

A familiar face will be roaming the sideline as Bulldog defensive coordinator and linebackers coach in 2015. Manny Diaz, who spent the 2014 campaign as DC at Louisiana Tech, returns to Mississippi State after serving in the same role in 2010. Diaz developed 10 players on that 2010 Bulldog team who went on to sign NFL contracts, including six who were in the 2015 NFL play- offs. Diaz’ 2014 Louisiana Tech team led the nation in turnovers gained (40). MSU’s 2010 defense ranked among the top 25 nationally in scoring defense, rushing defense and tackles for loss. Diaz replaces Geoff Collins, who is currently defensive coordinator at Florida.

Scoring defense, rushing defense, and tackles for a loss. And per Diaz, he has better players than that 2010 defense had.

Keep trying.

I just like the fact that State beats LSU for the first time since '99 last season, and all of a sudden think they own this series.

No one owns a series in the SEC like LSU has owned Mississippi State. State has only won 4 games against LSU since 1985.

As far as this year's game, I think it will be close for 3 quarters, and LSU pulls away in 4th and wins by 10....

See you are wrong. We don't act like we own the series. But we know what we have. We told you the same thing last year. Next year maybe different. This year, no.

Just letting you know to not by the hype of MSU lost everything..... Because we didn't. And we improved....

You aren't leaving this turd on the floor and forgetting about it.

Your DC gave up 70 points in a game, a single game. Ours gave up 550 rushing yards. If we are using worst performances as a measuring stick, do you want the one that gave up yards or the one that gave up 70 fricking points? You're not mentioning the fact that ours is actually proven to be a damn good coach, both before and after that stint, and was first in the nation in turnovers last year at La Tech. At least tell me what Steele has done as a DC other than give up 70 points in a game.

Get back here and rub your nose in this shite you left on the carpet.

Here at LSU DC positions really don't mean much. Helen Keller could run our defense with the talent we have. You heard it here first, LSU blows the doors off MSU this year.

State fans are like fat people that have just lost weight. Proud and cocky until they realize they need to lose about 50 more

I can see either team winning, really. Our D is not proven, but neither is LSUs QB. The game should be close. I dont expect MSU to blow out LSU, but should get the W.

Well, you're wrong. But here is what you're looking at returning.

Starters:
Traveze Calhoun
Kendrick Market
Ryan Brown
Beniquez Brown

Not "Starters":
Chris Jones (Pre-season AA)
Will Redmond (Best Sr CB in the 2015 draft according to Mel Kiper)
Kivon Coman
Richie Brown (Is your arse still chapped he didn't pick LSU?)
Zack Jackson
AJ Jefferson
Nick James (Another one of those LSU locks)

Amazing how the team that "lost too much" isn't starting a single player who isn't a JR or SR.

This is assuming Jamal Peters or Leo Lewis doesn't break into the lineup by week two. You didn't want either of them, I remember.

Regardless, Redmond is on the Bednarik watch list and one of the best corners in the league. And isn't considered a returning "starter".
