Eh. That's splitting hairs. Grace St isn't even big enough to have a line down the middle. If Miller had pulled up to Miles and Davis rather than pulling into a parking spot, then it would be pretty accurate to say that he was "blocking the road." But there is a big difference between "blocking the road" and "intentionally blocking the victim's car the prevent it from leaving."
It looks to me like the road has 2 exits and multiple other parking lots. I don't see how they could have possibly been blocking all "escape routes," as the article suggests. Plus, the guy clearly could leave because he left immediately after the shooting and drove to the Walk of Champions.

It looks like you'd need at least 3 vehicles to actually block all exits on that road.
I just looked at that street. Funny how you came to that conclusion. There are multiple spots on that road where it would only take 2 cars to block your access going forward.

Basically what you continue to say is,if a guy plays football or basketball for Alabama that makes him incapable of any wrong doing, correct?
Nothing I've said in this thread could have lead you to this conclusion.

"Miles and Davis walked away from the victim’s Jeep but later returned.
Two vehicles - a Dodge Charger and a Dodge Challenger that belonged to Miles’ teammates, Miller and Bradley - were blocking the road where the Jeep was parked."
How is Miller not in jail?

Was it one of their apartments? If so, fair enough. If not, probably doesn't help that much.
The guy with the point about returning a weapon is probably being a little optimistic but it's nonetheless valid.
"hey can you bring me my pistol I left it in your car and I don't want it to get stolen you know how these hoodlums are around here LOL" is probably the best case scenario here, but I just think you very likely have to suspend disbelief to get to a place where Miller wasn't at least reckless. And obviously that doesn't account for the handoff in Miller's car (saw an Al.com reporter tweet this so that's the basis for this) or the potential that Miller's car blocked egress for the victim.

True, but I don't see any such spots in the "400 block."

You’re wrong…

Testimony from today’s court hearing show all involved had gone to Twelve25 Sports Bar that night. Miller dropped Miles off at the club but did not stay because the line was too long. After leaving the club, Harris, her boyfriend, Cedric Johnson, and her first cousin, Asia Humphrey, stopped at a nearby grill to get something to eat. It was then they encountered Davis, who was dancing in front Harris’s Jeep. Johnson told Davis that his girlfriend was not interested and to move along. “It got a little elevated,’' the detective testified. Culpepper said Davis said, “You don’t know who I am and what I do.’'

Miles and Davis walked away from the victim’s Jeep but later returned. Two vehicles - a Dodge Charger and a Dodge Challenger that belonged to Miles’ teammates, Miller and Bradley - were blocking the road where the Jeep was parked. Miles and Davis walked to Miller’s car and got something - believed to be the gun - out of the back seat. Culpepper said Miles had texted Miller saying, “I need my joint,” which is slang for a gun, police said. Moments later, Culpepper testified, Davis approached the victims’ car and said, “I told you I was going to get you,’' and then began firing through the driver’s side window of the Jeep. He fired at least eight shots, some of them while running in an arc from the driver’s side around the back of the vehicle. It was then, the detective said, that Miller’s Charger was struck by two bullets. Johnson, the victim’s boyfriend, returned fire, striking Davis in the shoulder. Harris was struck in the left side of her face. The victims drove to the Walk of Champions where they found a police officer and stopped. Harris was pronounced dead there.

You must be looking at a different article. The AL.com piece simply says "Two vehicles - a Dodge Charger and a Dodge Challenger that belonged to Miles’ teammates, Miller and Bradley - were blocking the road where the Jeep was parked."
You are correct that they clearly didn't block all escape routes, and it would have been incredibly difficult to do so.

Still the prosecutions job to prove you knew. It doesn’t appear police or DA has any interest in making that case. Which seems a bit unusual to me.
Idk wth happened here but if they’ve read the texts and see that Miller had no clue what it was going to be used for then why charge him with anything?
For a website with a bunch of rednecks y’all sure are some sissies. Bringing a friend his gun isn’t weird.

This is a point I tried to make earlier, but where is Miller in this case?
