Another very long td dropped by a freshman wr..

Stockton problems is people were picking at him for running or checking down too soon, which bit him in the arse this game

His numbers despite having exactly one-half of support in the running game (against ULM) are really impressive

I don’t need to read or watch expert analysis to tell me that pretty much any bama QB is gonna play like Brady against us. That’s the norm.

The gist is Georgia was playing good defense, Ty was just playing better.

This game reminded me a lot of Texas vs Washington in 2023. We were playing good defense, but the throws were just about perfect in tight windows. Super frustrating.

If I could go back and tell PK how to defend it differently, I would have put a lot more pressure on Penix, similar to what Michigan did the following week.

Yes, it opens up the explosive plays, but Penix will pick you apart if you don't pressure him. I think Simpson probably falls into this same category.

If you watch this guy's videos, he points out that Alabama went into a clock-control offense in the third quarter because they were so efficient at converting when needed.

This also happened in the Washington game, and it almost bit them in the arse. Quinn had 3 shots from the 13 yard line that would have won the game for Texas.

This is only anecdotal on my part due to a limited sample size, but I think DeBoer scripts the heck out of a game, and then the eventual management kind of trails off to the QB making the proper reads (hence why Milroe struggled so much).

I think Kirby sort of does the opposite and comes in with very few surprises, but is a master at slowly adjusting his defense to what he's seeing on the field.

If they could just manage to find an average run game over the next few weeks, they could be a very scary offense.

I think there's a good argument to be made that KD puts little emphasis on a run game, and to be fair if he can win without it (which he continues to do) who can fault him?

Grubb also plays a big role in that equation, and Milroe didn't have him calling the plays.

Yeah I can't get over the shot of him over there coaching up the Bama defense. That's seriously impressive leadership, I'd want to run through walls for that dude too.

Bama y'all got a stud at QB for sure

Simpson is coming on and his receivers are legit #1#2#5#17 all playmakers

If Bama ever learns how to run block and starts running the ball with any success, they may be unbeatable.

I admit, it's refreshing to see a college player become a team leader in the NIL era of today.
