Same with Lacy.

Miller: Close friend of his who gets into altercations with people in parking lots requests to be brought his gun. Brings gun to his close friend and it is used to murder a young mother.
Me: Doesn’t have that close friend
But you all defending Miller as just some innocent young guy keep on being you I guess.

Are you really this dumb or is it an act? You never seem to post anything intelligent.
This is horrible advice. Thankfully multiple people have already corrected you.

Damn Alabama, just when we thought you couldn't get any more corrupt, first "Scared Saban" and now "Murderous Miller."

Yeah hasn't this always been the case though?
Miller knowingly brought a gun to confrontation involving a thuggy friend who murdered a girl. I think most programs/coaches would have cleaned house of everyone involved. Oats didn't, and downplayed the whole thing.
Unfortunately this isn't the first or last time a college coach uses a laughably thin pollyanna defense to avoid any serious consequences for very serious bad actors in their program.

It's not illegal or even wrong to bring someone a gun. What the person did with the gun after is on them.
You just want to prosecute him because you see him as a thug, not because his actions are actually illegal.

I don't have any role in the decision to prosecute him or not. I don't know if he should have been or not. I think, based on my minimal experience with criminal law, that he probably could have been indicted, but I don't know that for certain.
I'm a gun guy, as are probably a lot of dudes discussing this. If some reckless sometimes-friend with a history of confrontations asks me to bring him a gun to a bar/club...I'm not doing it. And that would be the consensus of the gun community, I think.
I don't know if Miller is a thug or not. I think Miller brought a gun to a confrontation for use by a guy he knew was a thug, though.

You have been arse deep in many threads about the incidents. If you don’t remember, that may be a sign of the onset of dementia.
And where is Sidewalk to voice his outrage on a tragedy being used to troll an SEC school? He always shows up to feign outrage when people do it to LSU.

It's just not illegal. What you say is common sense, but it's not illegal to bring someone a gun. Maybe if you specifically know their intent and that the intent is to commit a crime, but it seemed to me the intent given was self defense.

It's all ghetto/thug behavior and it's a huge culture problem. Pride goeth before a fall, and the entire culture is based on pride. Pride is what escalated the entire thing.
But it's not illegal to bring a gun, and people - even if they come from that culture and are part of it, have a right to self defense. And in many cases, more of a need.
Sometimes you don't realize how fricked up a person is until it's too late.
