SMU could get in for sure but there is an astroturf campaign against the SEC for sure. You can track cluster nodes and account posting history, date of creation, following followers etc

I feel Bama should expect a bowl game against Miami. I’m good with that. This new 12 team format is too concerned with record and not the caliber of opponent. If the committee is unbiased, then Alabama, Ole Miss, Miami and South Carolina should be in playoff.
They are all better than Indiana, Boise State, SMU and Arizona State.
Won’t work out but SEC (Sankey) will demand change and move us toward a true playoff.

Theres a ton of x stuff to link as well as paid substack. Im posting this as a clear leak thought not claims of truth. Therefore I dont wish to give credence to individuals peddling false info if it is. Go find it yourself. Its extremely easy type CFP bracket leak

Can you not use X? See above as to why I dont want to lend credence to possibly false info. It is a simple search. Many arent nobodies. Doesnt mean theyre right. You can also find this stuff on substack from people who are generally more professional but its paid.

This statement sums up this debate well. Whoever draws SMU will be relieved and have people saying they drew an easy bracket. Whoever draws an 11 or 12 seed Bama is saying shite we got screwed.
