SEC went 6-2 with LSU which would probably have won a bowl game not playing.

There were shifts in power but the conference as a whole has already confirmed the SEC was strongest.

I hope Waddle can play against osu. No way any college team can cover Smith and Waddle at the same time. They are too good.

All 6 bowl wins were over ranked teams.

Gotta keep up that whole "doesn't count" narrative.

Ok. I'll play. EVERY conference was down. The SEC was down less than all the others.

Yeah, you'd be correct. Aggies are very lucky with their season and should be thankful for the fluke year 5th isn't bad!

Nah. Just all other conferences are still worse than the SEC. SEC was still down this year.

You’re right. Apparently it was much stronger.

Many of them were BAD draws also....the SEC team may have been favored but the opponents were pretty good and beating an SEC team would have been noteworthy for YEARS! Kentucky and Miss State were playing pretty good teams and UGA and Ole Miss were playing really good teams. Its fun to bash Florida but there ain't no way they get curb stomped by OU in a game that matters and in fact probably win. Auburn was playing a very good team who matched up very well with them and TAM played a team which could be very good if not for opt outs....impressive regardless of the national title game....if Bama wins its icing on the cake for the conference....

The #2 team in the West barely put LSU away. Florida lost to an awful LSU team that Auburn blew out. What a powerhouse of a conference this year. Only Alabama was good this year.

How many Coaches got fired? The SEC was not at its usual strength.

It certainly wasn't. UGA started a midget at QB or a poor soul recovering from brain damage for part of the season, Ole Miss and MSU both had new coaches. UT was a fricking dumpster fire as was LSU for most of the season. TAM and Florida were improved but Florida is supposed to be so them being nearly normal is not unexpected...and the usual suspects were what they are most years.

It’s not. Ark, Missouri, Florida, aTm all much better. Georgia held serve as did Auburn. Sc was as expected LSU sucked this year so they were down. OM was improved and if not for Corral having two games where he for some reason threw 6 interceptions in the game OM would have won two more games. This was a great season and everyone in here said no sec team would go undefeated playing a all sec schedule but since Bama did, aTm beat LSU the conference suddenly suck.
