I don’t see an option for BU as an avatar. I dislike Harvard more than BC.

Of course I'm biased so I'll give you a biased perspective all of which have already been mentioned.

UGA at LSU. LSU is the best tailgating at an SEC campus and has a fantastic atmosphere. It'll be a day game and LSU may have a few losses so it's not going to be as intense as it could potentially be, but it'll give you a great taste of SEC football. You will be very well fed and offered alcohol aplenty so you will definitely have a good time regardless. Baton Rouge isn't much but if you want to make a vacation of it you can drive the 90 minutes to NO and experience that.

AU at UGA. This will be a massive atmosphere and both divisions could possibly be on the line. They haven't won here since 2005 and after last year's split matchups tensions should be sky high. Not to mention Athens is by far the best college town and you will be guaranteed to have a blast.

Cocktail Party - This is obviously off campus so you will lose that aspect but there's nothing like it anywhere. There are other neutral site games but none like ours. 50/50 split down the middle of the stadium, nice setting on the river, tailgating begins on Tuesday.

If you're wanting to eat good, go to a LSU game, if you're wanting a great Southern experience go to an Auburn game, if you enjoy going to Wal Mart on a Saturday morning go to a bama game.

Dont pack or wear shoes and you will fit right in. Start learning to dip and drink Busch beer. Hope any women with you are fat or else you will stick out like a sore thumb.

Chestnut Hill is pretty damn nice though.

BC and BU are big time hockey rivals...I believe they drew almost 35K when they played @ Fenway a while ago.

If you plan on going to a game before mid-October, make sure it's a night game. 2:30 games in Sept. can be brutally hot.

...and if you want to eat fried chicken out of a bucket, with a knife and fork, on a table cloth under a chandelier, go to an Ole Miss game.

Have a son that will be a sophomore this year at BC. He really liked BU too but wasn't a big fan of the city campus. Loves Boston though.

Having been to a couple of BC home games now, I can see why you would want to try out a SEC game day experience. High schools down here have more spirit.....

You really cant go wrong with any of them you listed, but Oxford should definitely be on there. Happy to help out with recommendations and maybe a couple of tickets if you make it down this way.

MSU vs UF.

Starkvegas is off the chain. Just don't lose your car keys cause someone might tell you to go to the local men's store to buy some khakis

LSU ALABAMA
LSU GEORGIA

Or

AUBURN ALABAMA
AUBURN GEORGIA

all of these you can’t go wrong from a true southern football gameday atmosphere. That’s the truth right there. The rest are good too besides maybe UK, Mizzou and Vandy but if you really want a big SEC experience you gotta go to one of these games.

Any Bama home game will do if you want to see a real team bust some heads.

Okay first off, it WON’T be a day game. Saturday Night in Death Valley is second to none when the game is a big one like this.
Baton Rouge to NOLA is NOT 90 minutes. It’s about an hour and 10 mins or less from Campus to The French Quarter. Trust me I live here and know this stuff. I know more about LSU and NOLA than some Georgia fan..

Damn dude relax.
And to be fair, if he goes to and fro NO and BR on game day, it’ll actually be WAY more than 90 min.
