and he'll talk about how some middle of the road state school in South Carolina is a prestigious university that has Goldman Sachs banging down the door the hire grads.
anybody can apply to Goldman Sachs....they don't have to come to Clemson to get a job with them.
US News has Clemson ranked the 23 best public university so going with your own preferred rankings it is hard to say Clemson is 'middle of the road'. lol

You’re right. Anyone can apply to anything
They don’t look at you though coming from our schools

you've provided no evidence of that.
I know a Clemson grad who is an electrical engineering professor at Oxford.
It looks like at least two Clemson grads work or have worked at Goldman Sachs. It took me less than 10 seconds to discover this. lol

it is funny to me a person from SC has such a bias against SC universities. self loathe much? Lol

no...i don't care for engineering.
I wish i had done something in agriculture or forestry.
I worked on a Clemson research farm during the summers when I was in college. that was pretty fun.

Lake Murray is generally full pool, both are rather similar geographically, but hartwell has more hills and you can see mountains on clear days.
