Sandlin, who was the #2 starter until Omaha. Doesn’t have the stuff that Bennet or Horton have, but had a pretty good year. Has been roughed up though last couple of outings

More precisely,

The drop off between Bennett, Horton and Trevin... to any other OU pitcher is why Loyd Christmas is so happy in the above post.

Yup. I remember looking at the #s before game 1. Y’all were right that Horton is really good and much better than his early games struggles. He might have better stuff than Bennett.

I assume if we can for another game Bennett is starting.

Sandlins record and numbers are good. Also lots of the bullpen has not yet pitched because Horton and Bennet have great stuff....

The last game wasn't that bad, it got interesting at the end, if I recall, A&M had the tying run on deck at one point near the end.
