Since you eliminated "pre-SEC" I am going to say Michigan. Vanderbilt's stadium (Dudley Field) was dedicated vs them in 1922.

colorado and ok. state have both played at UGA recently.

I was surprised to see that Ohio State's only game at an SEC school was @ LSU in '87.

Has Michigan State or Michigan ever been south? I dont recall Ohio State ever coming south except in a bowl.

Michigan played at South Carolina in '85, but that was before expansion. Other than that and Vandy before the SEC was a thing, they haven't come south.

Kansas State played at Auburn in 2007
NC State played at Auburn in 1979
Virginia Tech played at Alabama in the 60's/70's and I think at Auburn in the 70s
