If the did not claim 1941, this whole thing goes away.
They could claim several more based on undefeated seasons like 1945 and 1966.
To me, if you go undefeated, you did your job. The rest of it is “just your opinion man.”

Yes... We knew it was coming. Like the steaming pile of horse shite you smell in the country.
I do think Chicken has peaked early on this though. I expected it in a week from Monday.... don't know why... LMAO.
Yet, Chicken was ahead of the curve and this thread is like a time capsule. Just think of the head-coaches who have come and gone from the SEC west schools since the original post... and the number of head coaches LSU and Auburn, Florida, etc. are still paying not to coach at their respective universities.
Before long the number (of national championships) up for debate will dwindle as Saban continues to deliver at Bama. This after being rejected by LSU.
Thanks LSU and thanks to Chicken. I hope you are still having to resurrect this thread in 10 - 20 years from now, deflecting from the 'other' failed programs and topics.
