It's unfortunate the person in charge of this site chooses to troll a fanbase.
All that matters is what recruits think, what Bama fans think, and what the NCAA recognizes. Unfortunately for you, all of those numbers are 15 or more. I think it's awesome how much this irritates other fanbases.

Well, just disregard what Wade, Thomas, and Bryant did for college football. We, as Alabama people, can't and won't forget what they did here and what they accomplished. Anymore than Notre Dame can forget Rockne or Parsehgian. Or LSU people can forget Dietzel or McClendon.
Being alive and remebering back to Bryant, makes this success all the better. But I have always believed, that Alabama football is bigger than anyone coach.
I would suggest people who really want to know about pre-Bryant Alabama football read the Winston Groom book about Alabama or the PBS, special, "Crimson Roses".

lol I just read the OP.
Even if we do want to ignore the undefeated teams from early in college football history and every AP or UPI trophy prior to Bama's 1978 team (even though Bama and Penn State weren't 1 and 2 this season), you left off the 1979 "best team in SEC history." You could have at least made the OP believable...
