Doesn't he have a $10 million buyout? How many schools would be willing to pay that?

Florida wouldn't take him with his ethics issues, Foley hasn't taken a chance on anyone with anything shady in their past and sure as hell wouldn't make Petrino the exception (Kelly is the only I could see him taking that risk for and even then it's iffy).

I doubt any SEC school would touch him. The only ones that might would be the Mississippi schools. Even then, I doubt it.

Petrino will do well at Louisville in the ACC. They got a chance to compete in that league. However, when some SEC coaches get fired after this year, somebody will go after him. He is a a hole but one of the best offensive coaches I have seen. Can call plays with the best of them. Not a great recruiter though.

You'd be dumb to hire him. Too easy to negative recruit and just point to the fact he hasn't stayed anywhere for long. I wouldn't let that dude near my kids.

Petrino will end up either back at Arkansas or at Alabama when Saban retires

Arky in a heartbeat. Bama wouldn't touch that shite with a ten foot pole.

Possible. Here's the truth. AD's are under a lot of pressure to win. Petrino is a winner, just a crappy human being. Jurich hired him back because he wins. Jurich is also just as sleazy which also helps.

Petrino had a "clean" year at WKU, and if he has one at UL (no motorcycle incidents, no hiring stupidity), and he will be seen as an attractive candidate. Because he wins.

The glaring problem with BP is that he has left both Louisville and Arkansas in shambles when he left.

He is a great offensive mind. No doubt about it. But I'd take Art Briles or a Mike Gundy over Petrino all day every day.

Sumiln is in there too. I'm sure there's others I'm not remembering.

I think Larry Fedora would be the next TAMU coach if Sumlin left

If Gus keeps winning Jerry Jones will make a formal offer.

Aubies love some Petrino.

Correct answer. Especially if Sumlin leaves for the NFL, we will want the Aggie to stop it from happening twice.

Alabama kept Mike DuBose after he was caught screwing his own personal secretary and then held a press conference to lie about it. Coaches screwing their secretaries is basically a tradition at Alabama. Wimp Sanderson did the same thing when he was the Alabama basketball coach. Petrino would actually be a perfect fit for them.
