Bob Stoops will be a HC in the SEC next year

After 18 years in Norman he wants to recharge in the elite conference. UT, a&m, Auburn, UF, most likely candidates currently. Fly in ointment, Notre Dame, where he seriously flirted with that job a few years ago.

That's not how I read it.

Making 6 mil a year coaching a top 10 team and calling all the shots and he just decides to leave for a program that won't pay as much and has tons of rebuilding to do? Rightttt

Expert on Finebaum just said that Stoops likes coaching jobs in Knoxville and South Bend the most per statements he's made in the past

I would put the likelihood in the following order.
Notre Dame: I think Kelly is gone and feel like this is where he would want to go.
Texas A&M: I think Sumlin is done and he could win there.
Tennessee: A very good chance that Butch is gone and I think Tennessee could possibly make a play for him.
Florida: I think they win the east this year and McElwain stays. Otherwise, I would put them at #1.
Auburn: I think they have a good year and their coach stays.

Bob Stoops makes too much sense and would be too successful for Texas A&M to consider hiring them. We'll hire whatever one hit wonder SMU or UH has coaching them

Good logic. Stoops to Tenn would generate lightning in the SEC not seen since Saban to Bama

I would be shocked if he did since he hates the SEC so much. At least that's according to OU people from landofthieves, he made it known he doesn't want OU in the SEC during realignment chatter.
