A lot of what bob says gets blown out of proportion by the media. He never really said anything bad about the SEC, just that it was more top heavy than ESPN likes to admit. Does anybody here seriously disagree with that? Also hes 3-0 vs Bama and 6-4 vs the SEC all time. He held Arkansas to 50 yards total offense in 2001, and put the most points on bama in Bowl history in 2013.

It's just jealousy - he's an SEC wannabe and never was

Well, he obviously doesn't care about his brother, who is getting abused by the SEC.

Yes, the SEC is down this year. But, so is everybody else. Tennessee had the OK game won and Stoops escaped and he knows it. Tennessee is not even good enough to win the SEC East.
Let's remember that only one of his wins against Alabama is after Mike Shula. And, let's also remember that his most prolific offense in NCAA history was held to 14 points and his super star QB rated a slice above 50 when he played a real SEC defense with all the marbles on the line.

No one ever compares their conference to the Big 12. I wonder why that is?
Stoops should worry less about the SEC and more about that loss to one of the worst Power 5 teams in the nation.

He lost to Texas
I think Stoops threw that game. Before the season the the coaches got together and drew straws to see who would have to lose one to Strong to keep Texas from firing him. Sure, it will sting all season long having to lose but it will pay off in recruiting advantage down the road.

I'd pay good money to smoke a wet fart directly into Bob Stoops face.

He might get off on that, then it would be all awkward.

Yet Arky would take Bobby instead of any coach they have EVER had in a heartbeat lmao

10 years ago? For sure.
Now? Not a chance in hell. He's washed up and irrelevant on the national stage.

Yes, the SEC is top heavy but the middle is a helluva lot better than every other conference (especially the B12). Arkansas, LSU, OM, MSU, and UF would beat the crap out of the 2-6 teams of any conference (as long as not still butt hurt over losing to Bama - and OM butt hurt over the pig loss).

This wasn't blown out of proportion. He was being interviewed on ESPN yesterday about the chances of making the playoffs. He was going over their good wins and as an afterthought said "Oh ya we also beat Tenn, you know that's one of them SEC teams" while he was smirking and laughing. He needs a throat punch.

Are you dumb? Bob has never had less than 8 wins in 17 years(2 times), and has appeared in 10 BCS bowls...No other coach active in FBS has done that not even Saban.

Because what we need is another Tigers and Death Valley.

Why do coaches like Stoops, Fat Bert always feel the need to run their pie holes? It is beyond me.

He's lost a lot of them bcs games tho lol

No other coach has spent that many years in the shittiest conference in America?
I'd rather lose to Toledo than Texas this year and that is NOT an exaggeration.
